Terms of Service

• Fightingback drafts UK consumer-rights letters using AI. We are not solicitors and this is not regulated legal advice.
• Your account is personal and free to start. One free letter, then £4.99/month for Personal or £9.99 for Pro.
• You own the letters you generate. Use them however you want, but you take responsibility for what you send.
• If something goes wrong, our liability is capped at what you have paid us in the last 12 months.

Privacy Policy

• We collect your email, name, password (encrypted), the letters you generate and any documents you upload.
• We use this data to give you the service. We do not sell it. We do not share it for advertising.
• Your letter content is sent to Anthropic (the AI maker) for processing. Anthropic does not use it to train their models.
• You have UK GDPR rights to see your data, correct it, export it or delete it.

Cookie Policy

• We use the smallest number of cookies we can.
• Essential cookies keep you logged in and remember your settings. These cannot be turned off.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) help us see which tools people use. You can turn these off.
• We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Refund Policy

• Within 14 days of subscribing: full refund if you have not used the service.
• Within 14 days but you used it a bit: pro-rata refund for what is left.
• After 14 days: we generally do not refund completed billing periods, but talk to us if something went wrong.
• You do not need to be signed in to request a refund - email hello@fightingback.uk.

• Fightingback is a consumer-rights drafting tool. It is not a law firm.
• We draft letters that cite UK legislation. We do not give regulated legal advice.
• Every letter we generate should be read and reviewed before you send it. AI can make mistakes.
• For serious matters - court action, criminal cases, large amounts of money - get a solicitor or call Citizens Advice.

AI Use Policy

• Every letter and Decoded scan is generated by AI. There is no human in the loop on the draft.
• We use Anthropic's Claude (Sonnet 4.6 for letters, Haiku 4.5 for routing). It runs in the United States.
• We send Anthropic the text you provide. Anthropic does not use it to train its models.
• AI gets things wrong sometimes. Read every letter before you send it.

Acceptable Use Policy

• Use Fightingback for genuine consumer-rights disputes that affect you personally.
• Don't use it to harass, threaten, defraud, or generate letters about other people's disputes without their consent.
• Don't use it to draft court pleadings, criminal documents, or anything we are not designed for.
• Misuse can get your account suspended or closed.
